FAQs
How do I sign up with Brysis?
The first step is to email your resume to our Temporary Services division. To help us match the right job with your needs, we strongly encourage you to include a cover letter introducing yourself and explaining the type of work you’re looking for. Please also include an explanation for any long breaks in employment, as well as your salary history.
How soon will I hear from the recruiting staff?
Our recruiters carefully review each resume in the order received. The initial review process may take several days. We appreciate your patience while we evaluate your resume and cover letter for potential job matches. If we have a current match that fits your qualifications and goals, we will contact you as soon as possible. If there are no open positions, we will continue to hold your resume until new opportunities arise.
Do I have to pay for services to find employment?
No, Brysis services are free to all job seekers. We provide a business-to-business service and are compensated by our clients.
Do you keep a portion of my pay?
No, Brysis is focused on getting you the best possible pay rate for a given position. We charge our clients a service fee in addition to your pay rate.
How do I receive payment?
Brysis pays on a weekly basis. For instance, if you start an assignment on Wednesday, you will need to turn in your timesheet no later than noon the following Monday. You will complete a timesheet and it must be signed and approved by your direct supervisor. You will receive your first paycheck on the following Friday and every Friday thereafter, as long as you work on an assignment at one of our client companies. We also have direct deposit available.
How do I get a job?
We are focused on finding the right fit for each of our associates. When a Brysis recruiter contacts you, the process begins. You will have an in-person interview with our recruiting team to ensure we understand what you are seeking in your next career opportunity.
How often should I contact your office?
Communication is key. We recommend a weekly call to inform our recruiters that you are still actively seeking work or if anything has changed in your job search. This enables our recruiters to modify their strategies to fit your job seeking needs.
Do I have to call you when my assignment ends if I want another job?
Yes, we want to make sure that nothing has changed in your job search, so we can get back to helping you find another position. Whenever anything changes in your employment situation or job search, please let us know.
How long do job assignments last?
The length of our assignments is based on the needs of our clients. During your in-person interview, our recruiters will discuss which type of employment opportunity is the right fit for you.
If I don’t accept a position you offer me, will you call me again?
Yes, we understand that not every position offered to you is going to meet your needs. However, we will consult with you to set reasonable expectations about the kinds of jobs that are available within the context of your goals and experience.
How can I get to the top of your call list?
Call your recruiter once a week and let them know if anything has changed in your job search. This may change who they are contacting in regards to your experience.
Do you offer resume writing services?
We will be happy to evaluate your resume, provide feedback and sample resumes to help you prepare for your job search.
Do you offer coaching prior to my interview with your clients?
Yes, Brysis recruiters are here to help you prepare for your interview. We understand that the best candidates are not always the best interviewees, and we recognize the importance of being well prepared. We do everything we can to set you up for success.
